SNAPCHAT AND ADVERTISING

The social media platform I chose to use was Snapchat. This happens to be one of the top media platforms I use on a daily basis. When you swipe over while on Snapchat you come to a page with different things you're interested in, and that you could also subscribe to. For example, some are magazines, others are well-known internet sites, and tv shows. I chose to subscribe to the brand or service called "Tasty". The brand "Tasty" is well known all over social media and has an online site as well. It basically shares food recipes and videos that show how to make them. All the food looks so good, and they are also very entertaining to watch. Snapchat, Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter are just a few examples that share this brand all over, subscribing to see what they post, as well as seeing it on your feed by others retweeting or sharing it, helps this brand evolve and get more well known every day.

The effectiveness of this campaign I would say has grown stronger throughout the years. Everybody loves food. Therefore the audience is never limited, and can relate in some way to many people throughout the world no matter what age! Kids, or even teenagers or young adults who are bored, can sit and watch the videos. Older parents who need an idea for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks or even dessert can just go look up certain videos of food recipes that they are interested in. If I were the Product/Brand Manager of "Tasty", I would recommend thinking of making commercial advertising. If a type of food came on the television that looked good to me I would instantly be tempted to check out what it was, as well as be interested more in what else "Tasty" had to give out.
